I'm still here...

Blogger has been a real pain. Just couldn't load the 'compose post' page. Ever.

Anyway somehow I've managed to get into a compose screen so I'll post this as it may be my last at Blogger if it ain't fixed.

Also, something happened back in June and frankly blogging has been the last thing on my to do list.

Blogger problems

Blogger has been a real pain - taking ages to create new posts. However today I migrated to the new style layout (did you notice?) and miraculously new posts are back to their normal speedy speed.

With a flourishing flick of the brush I finally finished decorating our living room! Yey! It's only taken 2 years, or was it 3? Feels like 5.

I hate decorating.

Also, slightly disappointed with yesterday's result from Sepang. C'mon Ferrari you can do better than that.

My Chemical Romance

Saw My Chemical Romance at Wembley on Friday night, they were superb!

Wembley Arena doesn't have the same great acoustics as the Brixton Academy - MCR sounded better when we saw them there last year. Still, friday's concert was still pretty awesome.

Frank was very ill, played nearly all of The Black Parade on his knees. What a trooper! Hope he's better soon!

Get a Mac

Around my way these Mac ads have been springing up at bus stops. I'm not sure what their target market is, I guess it'll be those poor unfortunates who haven't seen the Get a Mac ads on the Apple web site because their rubbish Windoze PCs keep crashing...

Anyway it's great news, everyone should get a MAC.

PS is it me or does Mitchell (the PC) look a bit like Hitler?

I invented E-mail

You may have noticed, dear reader, that I have not been posting much. This has been mainly due to being short of anything interesting to impart.

On Friday I went to an escape party in honour of a chap called Ian (best wishes BTW) who was retiring to a better life.

Anyway, to the purpose of this post. There were many, erm, older people there who had retired years before. I was circulating, chatting to people I'd not seen for 10 years and during one conversation this guy says, pointing at me, "This man sent me my first email. We "(and by this he meant everyone older than me) "thought it wouldn't catch on."

Migration

Migrated my blog to the new version of Blogger. Got me a gmail account as well.

And overwound the replacement today.

So I have to buy some more strings tomorrow!

Waste of an Enzo

This bloke borrowed his Dad's Ferrari Enzo and managed to hit a power pylon. Car completely totalled. Apparently it only had 9 miles on the clock.

Finally found out what the F16 key is for on my Apple keyboard...
